The power ball Wednesday’s lottery draw jackpot increased to around $35 million, with a cash option worth $20.3 million.
The winning numbers were: 32, 36, 49, 62 and 69. The Powerball drawn was 13 with a Power Play of 2X.
No one across the country hit the $26.4 million jackpot on Monday, but a $1 million second-prize ticket was sold in New Mexico. It matched five numbers but not the Powerball.
In New Jerseynot win more than $200 on a single ticket.
Monday’s winning numbers were: 15, 16, 24, 31 and 56. The Powerball drawn was 4 with a Power Play of 2X.
Additionally, no one won the secondary $10 million Double Play jackpot that followed the main draw.
The winning Double Play numbers were: 9, 41, 55, 57 and 60. The Double Play number drawn was 5.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has approximately a 1 in 11,688,053 chance of matching five numbers and winning at least $1 million, while that the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning the third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball is played Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, as well as Washington, DC, the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
New Jersey Lottery Lawrence’s offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. should players prefer to file claims and validate winning tickets in person. Claims can be deposited in a secure drop box at the lottery headquarters. This option applies to prizes with a value greater than $599.50.
If the player wins a prize of $25,000 or more (or feels more comfortable submitting claims in person), appointments can be made to meet with lottery representatives in person by calling 1-800-222-0996.
